Dermaplaning uses a small medical grade blade to shave off the fine vellus hair aka ‘peach fuzz’ and exfoliate up to 30 layers of dead skin cells.  As we age our bodies are less efficient at exfoliation.  The presence of dead skin cells on the skin’s surface can give your complexion a greyish cast that inhibits your healthy glow.  Emerge with dramatically smoother, brighter, younger looking skin.

Other benefits: zero downtime, can be combined with a peel or another modality for further exfoliation.

Microneedling: $250

Based on the concept of the skin’s ability to heal itself.  After your skin is injured – cut, burned etc, your body goes to work to repair the damage. The tiny needles used in this technique make micro channels/injuries that trigger the body’s ability to form new collagen. I am a skeptic when sharp objects are involved but the results in my own skin quickly helped me get over the needles. There really is no serious downtime.  Post treatment the skin is pink and feels tight and dry which is part of the process so staying out of the sun and wearing sun protection is a must. NO, you can’t skip work. Sorry!

Recommended:  For best results, four to six treatments once every 4-6 week I personally saw a difference about 6 weeks after the first treatment.  Even with one treatment you will see a difference. After one of my wrinkles disappeared another benefit appeared.  My skin was glowing! Like never before.  Think – dewy Disney princess. Ridiculous.

LED therapy is the application of light energy to the tissue for therapeutic benefits.  It increases the skin’s circulation and accelerates tissue repair giving you younger looking skin.  An excellent healing therapy post- facial treatment.

It is also used to speed healing and reduce pain!

Photo therapy (LED) facial: $40 per weekly session

Once a week for 4-6 weeks. 

This includes a thorough cleanse and exfoliation

-        30 minutes of LED therapy for clearer, firmer skin

-        Application of a mask; serums, moisturizer, SPF, suited to your individual skin goals

Red light – Firms, reduces wrinkle depth, improves skin clarity

Blue light – Kills the bacteria that causes acne; calms and reduces the redness and inflammation associated with acne

Near infrared red light – helps reduce stiffness and pain

LED is added to many of my facial treatments to reduce redness, inflammation and increase exfoliation for a lesser lined complexion.

Sick of being told what you can and cannot do? Well, this one’s for you.  Cool your heavy heels and experience a relaxing organic facial that is baby and baby Mama safe. 

This facial cradles you with comfort and clarifies, soothes and protects skin that is sometimes hormonally challenged.  A relaxing massage and extra pillows help you relax no matter what month you are in!

Lymphatic Facial: $75

Think – yoga for the face- this is the answer for sinus/allergy sufferers.  The lymphatic system aids in the removal of wastes from the body tissue.  When your is impaired, your complexion dims due to the buildup of toxins.

This facial massage technique employs gentle pressure that increases circulation, flushes out toxins and also relieves stiffness and bruising post- facial surgery.

I come to your bridal shower party!  We have a cocktail and each of you and your “maids” enjoy 30 minute facials. 

All that is required is a private (or just quiet) space with a water source nearby (a bathroom is great but I have done them near bars and kitchens too).
